My name is Francis Emmanuel Kofi Osei - and don't mind the postal address in the footer, that's my dad's. I was born on January 19th, 2001, which makes me 24 years old. I live in a small town in the Central Region of Ghana called Elmina. I'm an emerging science writer with a curiosity that stretches across science and philosophy. Many of these works will find their home on this site as time goes on.
I currently study Medicine at the University of Ghana. It’s not exactly my first love — which is why I started this website: to build, refine and share the ideas that truly make me feel fulfilled.
I’m naturally drawn to theoretical fields. I enjoy Physics, Mathematics and Philosophy — especially tackling the open-ended questions in the subfields that fascinate me most. In Physics, I love exploring cosmology, quantum field theory and relativity, and I’m looking forward to delving deeper into quantum gravity and how it ties into cosmology.
In Philosophy, my interest lies in metaphysics — which I love applying to theology and physics. And while Mathematics is already metaphysical in many ways, it can feel too abstract for my taste, which is why I find myself pulled more toward theoretical physics.
I can also code a bit, and I love testing the boundaries and possibilities of AI. I actually built this site myself with help from ChatGPT — the experience of using AI as an assistant has been rewarding, and I hope to extend this collaboration to other fields too, especially medicine and quantum computing.
Beyond academics, I have a deep love for music. I listen to all kinds of genres, but these days I find myself drawn more to sacred music — hymns, Gregorian chants and classical pieces. When it comes to secular music, it’s still classical for me: Bach, Mozart and Beethoven are always in my playlist.
